The “Green Guilford” Connecticut web site was created by the Guilford, Connecticut Green Team’s long term mission to encourage community wide participation in the areas of energy conservation, waste reduction and recycling while maintaining overall ecological responsibility and promote measures for sustainability throughout our wider society.
Though we are launching this initiative in the Guilford, Connecticut school District, our goal is to seek involvement with community wide issues such as neighborhood clean-up, habitat restoration at nearby parks, etc.
Our Guilford Connecticut Green initiatives and communication through school programs such as classroom displays, school assemblies and news letters, as well as through this web site forum, aim to gain town wide participation in our efforts.
